Last week, 50 volunteers from Ernst & Young Brisbane put on their painting overalls and joined forces with Dulux Australia to paint three AEIOU Foundation centres.
The volunteers divided their time between the Nathan, Camira and Bray Park centres to ensure the children come back to a fresh new classroom in 2016.
Fundraising Director Jenni Heenan thanked team EY and Dulux for the outstanding commitment of time and resources, particularly in the busy lead up to Christmas.
“It was a wonderful initiative and this project goes well beyond a new coat of paint,” she said.
“The value of their time equates to the sponsorship of one child in our program in 2016.
“It was an absolutely remarkable effort from each of the EY volunteers and AEIOU’s Fundraising Team who made it such an enjoyable day.
“When families return from holidays in January, we are sure they will all be very impressed with the finished result.”
